At the roundabout, follow the directions for "Giaveno - Sacra di San Michele" and enter the tunnels. At the tunnels' exit, take the first exit at the roundabout and continue for "Laghi di Avigliana - Giaveno".
At the roundabout, take the second exit for "Giaveno", then follow the directions for "Sacra di San Michele".
Park in the Piazzale Croce Nera and continue on foot for 800 m (approximately 15 min. on foot).
NOTE
For buses and other vehicles that are wider than 2 metres, you must always travel in the same direction,
ascending from Avigliana and descending to Giaveno.
For cars, the single-direction obligation is only valid Sundays and on public holidays.
The municipal parking located in Piazzale Croce Nera is paid - for cars and buses.

For disabled people with reduced mobility, access is permitted with their own car up to the foot of the Sacra (Sepulchre of the Monks) and it is possible to use an alternative route, within which there are pedestrian sections on a slight slope and three elevators, which lead to the Church.
The areas that can be visited are limited to the Church and the ruins of the New Monastery.
The elevator service is available at the following times: 10:00am – 11:00am – 12:00pm – 2:30pm – 3:30pm – 4:30pm – (5:30pm only in August).

TRIAL N° 501 FROM MORTERA - AVIGLIANA
Historic, nature path called the “Sentiero dei Principi” (“Trail of the Princes”).
Once you've arrived in Mortera, go past the village and continue along the flat section until the town of Pian di Fan. Continue along the trail uphill and pass a series of turns (the so-called “M”s) until you reach the Punta del Farò. Turn left and continue until Piazzale Croce Nera. Continue along the asphalt road until the Sacra di San Michele.

TRIAL N° 502 FROM SANT’AMBROGIO DI TORINO - VIA FRANCIGENA SECTION
The Turin-Susa railway line or the Turin-Bardonecchia line, getting off at the Sant’Ambrogio station. From the car park in front of the railway station, continue along Via Caduti per la Patria. At the end, turn right to reach the Church of San Giovanni Vincenzo. A short, steep slope behind the church leads to the start of the cobblestone mule track. Along the way, you pass the 15 stations of the Via Crucis that lead to the San Pietro municipality. From here, follow the path between the houses and, at the crossroads, turn right to reach the Sacra di San Michele.

TRIAL N° 503 FROM CHIUSA SAN MICHELE - VIA FRANCIGENA SECTION
The Turin-Susa railway line or the Turin-Bardonecchia line, getting off at the Condove - Chiusa di San Michele station. Head towards the centre of Chiusa di San Michele until the Church of San Pietro Apostolo and take the mule path on the right (signpost 503) that leads to Piazzale Croce Nera. Continue left on the asphalt road until the Sacra di San Michele.

CARLO GIORDA VIA FERRATA
The Via Ferrata winds around the north slope of Mount Pirchiriano. The departure for this route is located on the SS25 of Moncenisio, between the towns of Sant’Ambrogio di Torino and Chiusa San Michele, where there is a large car park. Along the via ferrata, you encounter two particularly panoramic and adrenalin-filled suspension bridges and two intermediate exits that join up again at the trails that lead to the Sacra. The via ferrata arrival point is near the north wall of the Sacra di San Michele. From here, you continue to the right along the trail to reach the Sepolcro dei Monaci.
